Android users can now get their hands on Picniic, a family management app that debuted on iOS this past August.
Picniic is marketed as ‘Slack but for home life.’ It was developed by Canadian Michael Cole, who previously found success selling his first app Fit Brains to Rosette Stone for $12 million.
The cheery Material Design app has six main segments: a joint calendar, a section for to-do lists, a recipes library, a group events planning tool and family news, which is the main messaging feature.
A paid version of the app gives you access to third-party integrations like the ability to synch in your work calendar and a recipe search feature, as well as additions like a meal planner, family locator and a private information locker.
