Along with the release of watchOS 3 and iOS 10, tvOS 3 is available for download today on all 4th Generation Apple TV set-top boxes.
The new OS update adds new iPhone and iPad remote app features, but unexpectedly, doesn’t include the unified credential system for entering cable subscription information Apple has shown off in the past.
The feature’s release is delayed until later this year, though it’s unclear how much of this functionality will actually be available in Canada. tvOS 10 also features the ability to search YouTube and HomeKit with Siri, as well as a new dark mode.
It seems Apple’s servers are overloaded right now, so expect the download to take some time.
