Here’s what a OnePlus smartwatch would have looked like

There are a plethora of options available in the smartwatch category. Samsung, LG, Sony, Pebble, Fitbit, Apple, Motorola, and Huawei are just a few to choose from.

OnePlus, in its limited existence in the technology space, opted to avoid entering this market, but its CEO and founder shared sketches of what could have been its entry into wearables.

Carl Pei revealed on Twitter, “What could have been but never will be. Sketches circa 2015.” The collection of artistic drawings revealed a wearable with a circular watch face that has the option to be removed to swap in a different watch band.

During an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Pei noted, “we had completed the design but we still decided to scrap it… We have to be focused.”

OnePlus recently unveiled its flagship OnePlus 3, which features a 5.5-inch display, 6GB RAM, 16MP rear camera, and a 3000 mAh battery.
