During Apple’s “Spring Forward” event CEO Tim Cook stated the company has sold 700 million iPhones. According to Cook, this makes Apple the leader in the smartphone industry. The company has also increased its overall satisfaction score to 99% — which Cook claims are “unheard of numbers.”
In January, Apple also announced it had offfically shipped its one billion iOS device. iOS, which was originally called iPhone OS, was officially unveiled with the iPhone in 2007, then later introduced on iPad and iPod Touch. Today, Apple will officially give further details on iOS and the Apple Watch.
