Those moving to the Nether should make sure to pick up a copy of Minecraft: Pocket Edition, which received a huge update for iOS and Android this week. The mobile edition of the popular indie sandbox game, which alone has surpassed over 21 million in sales, has undergone what developer Mojang calls “the overhaul of a generation.”
It’s not hyperbole: the app has been stuffed with more of everything, including new blocks, items, mobs, biomes, caves, villages, and abandoned mineshafts to explore. Minecraft: Pocket Edition also adds new feature generation options for those looking to build more than they mine, and an “interaction” button, designed to prevent accidental sheep punching.
Both iOS and Android versions of Minecraft: Pocket Edition can be found at the source links below.
