Taking a quick look at the chart shows that OS 4.4 KitKat is on the rise by 5 percent to power 13.6% of Android devices — this is most likely from the Galaxy S4 upgrade, along with the launch of the Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8. Jelly Bean dropped below 60% and other versions of Android such as Ice Cream Sandwich account for 12.3%. Gingerbread is stable at 14.9%. Trailing off into the sunset was the one-time tablet friendly Honeycomb at less than 0.1% distribution.
