Fieldrunners 2, the follow-up to the hugely successful tower defense game, has finally come to Android nine months after its release on iOS.
The developers, Subatomic Studios, claimed the delay was necessary in order to do the game justice on a platform that tends to be unpredictable when it comes to cross-device compatibility.
The game boasts some of the best AI found in a mobile game, and detailed, highly-polished animations and graphical effects. I’ve played it extensively on iOS and it is definitely a lot of fun, and comes highly recommended. The game comes in at $2.95 but there are no in-app purchases to worry about, and since the developers promise 20+ hours of gameplay, you’re getting quite a bit of value for your three bucks.
