We’re here in Redmond, Washington to take in Microsoft’s accumulated output of the last few weeks. This means Windows 8, Windows RT and, of course, Windows Phone 8. The company has invited a number of press, but mostly app developers and designers, to its Redmond campus to take part in three heavy days of tutorial, hacking and programming, much to everyone’s nerdy delight.
Microsoft’s Surface tablet is going to be featured heavily here among the attendees, many of whom have not seen the ARM-based slate yet. Microsoft is hosting sessions on everything from brushing up on your C++ skills to the crossover between Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. We’ll likely see a number of phones that have, or will launch, in Canada, but mainly we’ll be talking to developers and enthusiasts about where they see Windows Phone 8 going, and whether they think it will be a success.
The keynote is about to begin, and if there’s any news we haven’t yet heard, you can be sure we’ll bring it to you. In the meantime, let us know what you’re most excited about in Windows Phone 8.
If you want to watch the keynote live, head to MSDN.
