Earlier today Stephen Elop, Nokia’s CEO, stated that a new Windows Phone 8 device will arrive in the “relatively near term.” Well, a media event has been announced for Wednesday, September 5th in New York City. The good news for us Canadians is that we’ll be live from NYC covering the event, which also means the new device will be coming to our fine land. It’s heavily rumoured that the upcoming WP8 device will have a similar form factor to the Nokia Lumia 900, but have a screen size larger that 4.3-inches and a faster processor.
