It may not be fully functional, but the first inklings of the TouchPad’s Android future is here with CM9 Alpha 0. The team has been hard at work sorting out all the remaining bugs, and introducing new ones.
By installing the Alpha, you’re eschewing Marketplace access, most audio functions, camera abilities, and overall hardware acceleration (no Netflix or YouTube HD), but those will likely be fixed in short measure if the CM7 timeline was any indication. It’s even possible to triple-boot webOS, CM7 and CM9, but not wholly advisable.
