The iPhone 5 is coming, the iPhone 5 is coming!
As we inch closer and closer to the finished product, leaked shots of cases, designs and internals seem to be popping up daily. Over on Webo, a Chinese Twitter-like social network, someone has posted a photo of what seems to be the A5 chip and a 1430mAh battery that seems destined for the iPhone 5.
We can’t obviously authenticate this image, and we know how much fakers love to come out to play weeks before a product release, but this is too good not too post. It’s also fairly obvious that the iPhone 5 is going to sport at least a variation of the A5 chip that comes with the iPad 2, and it makes sense that there would be a 1430mAh battery, as its predecessor has one with 1420mAh.
Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone by the end of September and launch it in the US early October, with other countries such as Canada a few weeks later. Let’s hope the leaks quickly turn into proof!
