New entrant Mobilicity originally launched their wireless service with 6 monthly plans. They ranged from a basic talk and text plan at $15/month to an all-in Unlimited Data offering at $65/month. Well, they must be getting ready to rumble and go live with their other cities as they have abolished 3 of their plans. Here’s what we have remaining and Mobilicity states that “The price you see is the price you actually pay”:
$25 per month plan: Unlimited Text & Picture Messaging, Local Calling, Caller I.D. and Mobilicity to Mobilicity Calling plus a slew of available add-ons.
$35 per month plan: Unlimited Text & Picture Messaging, Local Calling, Caller I.D. and Mobilicity to Mobilicity Calling. Voicemail, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, 3 Way Calling, Province Wide Long Distance (plus the add-ons)
$45 per month plan: Unlimited Text & Picture Messaging, Local Calling, Caller I.D. and Mobilicity to Mobilicity Calling. Voicemail, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, 3 Way Calling, Province Wide Long Distance, Canadian Long Distance, U.S. Long Distance, Global Text Messaging. (plus the add-ons)
So there is no pure data plan anymore… you can add $10 and get unlimited data on a smartphone.
