Looks like our predictions for the Motorola Rival heading to Koodo Mobile are coming true. This full QWERTY texting dream just screams Koodo Mobile. An image of the Rival showing it’s features and the Koodo branding has this launching shortly with targeted availability dates of either August 17th or 24th.
No word on exact pricing, but you can bank on this being at the top of their price point for $200 outright of $50 on the Tab.
The Rival is a side slider with a full QWERTY keyboard and TELUS launched this in purple or silver (not sure what Koodo will do but can expect the same). This has a 2.2-inch screen with some touchscreen features, one-touch access to text messaging, emoticons buttons and IM, 2 megapixel camera with video capabilities. Overall dimensions of the Rival are 50mm x 96.5mm x .100.3mm and weighs in at 124 grams.
