According to our Twitter friend Football, who correctly posted the specs of HTC’s now-official One X+, the company’s upcoming five-inch Galaxy Note competitor, tentatively titled the Droid Incredible X, has some massive specs.
First thing to note is that the device, which goes by model number HTC6435, will have a 5-inch 1920×1080 screen, for an incredible pixel density of 441ppi. We’ve yet to see Android scale to such high density, but as with the first 720p devices we’d imagine the transition will be smooth. If HTC can manage to produce the screen as the same quality as its awesome 720p screen in the One X, we’ll all be happy.
Other specs include the 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (no expansion), a 2500mAh battery (non-removable), a 12MP back camera and 2MP front camera.
It looks like the phone/tablet/phablet will launch in the U.S. on Verizon, and there is no indication of a Canadian launch at this time. Rest assured, however, that Canadian carriers will snatch up the device as soon as it’s released. Look for it to launch with Android 4.1.2 in the near future.
