One of the most acclaimed movies of 2024 was A Real Pain, a comedy-drama written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg.
The film follows the neurotic David (Eisenberg) and his free-spirited cousin Benji (Kieran Culkin) as they reunite for a Jewish heritage tour in Poland to honour their late grandmother. A Real Pain garnered rave reviews for the tonal balance of Eisenberg’s screenplay and direction and Culkin’s scene-stealing performance, the latter of which just earned him Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars.
Therefore, a lot more people have the film on their radar now and have been wondering where to watch it. Thankfully, it’s quite simple to do so in Canada — you can stream the film on Disney+. It’s also available to rent or purchase on premium video on demand platforms like Apple TV, Google Play and Prime Video.
The Oscars took place on Sunday, March 2 and we have a full breakdown of how to watch it in Canada. We also have resources on how to stream some of the other big Oscar films, including Best Picture winner Anora, as well as Wicked, Conclave, Emilia Pérez, Dune: Part Two and The Substance.
