Paramount+

Paramount+ is bringing two more subscription options to Canada and other international markets.

On November 16th, the streamer will roll out a ‘Premium’ plan that includes support for 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and up to four concurrent streams (versus two for the standard membership). Premium will be priced at $13.99 monthly and $124.99 annually.

Additionally, Paramount+ will launch an ad-supported tier in Canada sometime in 2024. In the U.S., this plan is priced at $7.99 USD (about $11 CAD) per month.

Currently, Paramount+ only has one base membership option in Canada that costs either $9.99/month or $99.99/year. The service is available on the web and as its own standalone Android, iOS and smart TV app, as well as a channel on Amazon’s Prime Video and Apple TV.

In Canada, Paramount+ offers access to original titles like Yellowstone, FrasierHaloThe Good Fight and iCarly. As of August, the service is now the exclusive Canadian streaming home of Star Trek, including new originals like Strange New Worlds and Below Deck.
