Amazon recently launched the Echo Spot in Canada, its smart speaker with a 2.5-inch display, in the Canadian market.
Now, it looks like the massive online retailer has discounted the first-generation of Echo devices that made their way to Canada a few months ago.
The Echo (2nd Generation) and the Echo Dot (2nd Generation) are both reduced for a limited time. The Echo drops $20 (15 percent) to $109.99 and comes in both ‘Charcoal Fabric,’ ‘Heather Grey Fabric’ and ‘Sandstone Fabric.’ As for the Echo Dot, the smallest smart speaker Amazon offers, is priced at $59.99, which is $10 savings, representing a 14 percent price cut.
The Echo Plus and Echo Spot are still priced at $199.99 and $169.99, respectively.
Update: It seems that Amazon has put another device on sale, this time the Kindle Paperwhite. The eReader is now $40 off and priced at $99.99. In addition, the Fire 7 tablet is on sale, now dropped by $10 to $49.99.
