A number of new smartphones are coming out within the next couple of months, according to previous leaks and announcements.
LG will reveal its G7 ThinQ on May 2nd. Past rumours indicate the device will feature an iPhone X-inspired camera notch, 6.1-inch display and a dual camera setup.
OnePlus will also unveil its OnePlus 6, likely sometime in June. This is similar to what the company did last year with the OnePlus 5. Within the past weeks, OnePlus has confirmed that its next phone will feature a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and a camera notch.
Leaks point to HTC revealing the U12+ sometime in June as well. This phone, according to past rumours, will surprisingly not have a notch. It will, however, continue to support the company’s Edge Sense tech.
Rumours also point to Lenovo revealing a number of Moto smartphones in the near future, the Moto E5, G6 and Z3 Play. These three devices are expected to make their way to Canada, though they’re not expected to include flagship specs. What the Z3 Play lacks in flagship specs it tries to make up for in its range of Moto Mods.
Either way, from now until the end of July we’re expecting to see a number of new smartphones to challenge the already-unveiled 2018 smartphones, such as the Galaxy S9+, Huawei P20 Pro and Asus ZenFone 5Z.
