Just two days after OnePlus began shipping the 5T, the China-based device manufacturer is now rolling out an operating system update.
Oxygen OS 4.7.2 addresses a few last-minute bugs and instabilities, and also promises a few enhancements, including optimizations for fingerprint and facial unlocking — which has already been lauded in some early press as lightning fast. The full list is as follows:
- Optimizations for fingerprint unlock
- Optimizations for face unlock
- Improved accuracy for screen off gestures
- Improved EIS during 4K video recording
Additionally, the update delivers a Wi-Fi WPA2 security patch for the Krack vulnerability. The update comes in at 107MB total.
