“How will the P10 build on the tremendous success of the P9?,” said Richard Yu, CEO of the Huawei Consumer Business Group during the Huawei’s keynote presentation at Mobile World Congress. Well, with the P10, Huawei is focussed on a global launch and plans to compete on high-end specs, low price and an array of colours.
It’s currently unclear if Canadians will receive the Huawei P10, however, it’s always important to know what manufacturers are building.
The P10 sports a 5.1-inch FHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, powered by a Kirin 960 chipset. One of the main features is its camera, which is a Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 and sports a 20MP monochrome and 12MP RGB rear shooter. The P10 is also only 6.98 mm thick and weighs 145 grams.
Huawei says the P10 will be available in Ceramic White, Dazzling Gold, Prestige Gold, Graphite Black, Rose Gold and Mystic Silver. Below is a comparison of the P10, the 5.5-inch P10 Plus, and the P9 from 2016.
