The flip phone is still alive as Rogers and sub-brand Chatr have both launched the new ZTE Z223.
Bringing back the late 1990’s, the ZTE Z223 features a 0.3 megapixel camera, 2.0-inch 176 x 220 pixel display, powered by a Qualcomm QSC6270 processor, and a 900 mAh battery that ensures up to four hours of talk time. In addition, the flip comes with some accessibility features with it being hearing aid compatible and digital TTY/TDD.
While this device is not targeted to the heavy data user, the ZTE Z223 is affordable at $0 on a 2-year term or $63 no-term.
