Rogers’ annual back to school Internet pricing for college students went in to effect in late July, offering significant discounts on no-term plans with 12-month promo pricing, starting with the 300GB-capped Rogers Ignite 30 tier, which was sliced from $69.99 to $45.
While this already compared favourably to its two largest competitors, Bell and Telus, the company has now upped the ante and trimmed its deals by another $5, taking the above plan to $40 per month.
Meanwhile, at the top end of its promo offering, students with valid post-secondary ID can get the unlimited Rogers Ignite 250u plan for $70, reduced from $97.99.
