The battle of affordable smartphones with impressive technical specs continues with ZTE opening up pre-orders in Canada for its latest flagship, the Axon 7.
ZTE promised Canadians a release “later this year” but according to retailer Newegg Canada, the 5.5-inch will start ship starting July 27th. As for the cost, the Axon 7 is priced at $529.99 plus $9 shipping though newegg.ca.
The model coming to Canada is the 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage model, while other countries will be graced with 6GB of RAM version. The Marshmallow-powered device comes is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 pixel display, 20 megapixel camera with dual LED Flash that can capture 4K videos, 8 megapixel front-facing camera, 3250 mAh battery, USB Type-C, and a fingerprint sensor.
The ZTE Axon 7 has a full metal unibody design the company says was inspired by “luxury cars.”
