South of the border, one of the most talked about devices since its CES 2016 reveal is Huawei’s Honor 5X.
This affordable mid-tier Android device costs just $200 USD and brings a significant amount of value. Packing a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, an octa-core Snapdragon 616 with 2GB of RAM, 13 megapixel rear camera with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, fingerprint sensor, 16GB internal storage with expansion up to 128GB, the LTE-enabled Honor 5X is a solid mid-range device.
But with that said, the Honor 5X unfortunately is not officially coming to Canada. In a statement to MobileSyrup, Huawei Canada noted, “there are no plans currently to introduce the Honor 5X to the Canadian market, but we should have some device/product news in the months ahead.”
Those interested in the Honor 5X can purchase it through NewEgg Canada where it’s currently available for $279.99 CAD plus $8.99 shipping.
While we wait for Huawei’s upcoming Canadian product announcements, the best Huawei-made smartphone on the market – and arguably the top Android smartphone available – is the Nexus 6P.
