According to CIBC’s official Twitter account, the bank’s mobile app isn’t working for those who have upgraded to iOS 9. Users are apparently unable to log into CIBC’s dedicated iOS banking app and get stuck at its password input screen.

iOS 9 launched yesterday afternoon, though an unexpected bug delayed the launch of watchOS 2, Apple’s wearable platform.
It’s unclear if other apps have been affected by Apple’s operating system update. Numerous Canadian developers – 1Password, CBC Sports and WattPad – have already released updates to their applications, adding iOS functionality like split screen multitasking and Spotlight indexing.
