Apple’s latest smartphones, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, are now available to pre-order from the company’s website, as of 12:01am PT / 3:01am ET September 12th.
With a number of marquee improvements, including hardier 7000 series aluminum, a brand new A9 chip and 12MP iSight camera, and 3D Touch, the evolution of Force Touch, the iPhone 6s is going to be a big upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 5 or 5s.
Should you buy one of the new devices? That depends on whether it meets your budget. Due to the weak Canadian dollar, the unlocked price of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus has increased over last year.

Update – Canadian carriers are also set up with pre-orders in Canada with most saying that “devices begin shipping September 24. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery.”
