The Moto 360 was announced just under a year ago, in early September 2014, and is still one of the most popular Android Wear devices on the market.
Motorola is expected to follow up with the second generation of the Moto 360 in the coming weeks. Hints of what the design could end up looking like were previously leaked by none other than Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing last March.
On Instagram and Twitter, Motorola teased an image, then quickly deleted them both, of an unreleased Moto 360 that resembles a similar round watch face with a power button at the two o’clock position.
Another design difference is the watch lugs that might make it easier to swap out bands, which were also teased by the CEO of Lenovo in March. Finally, those who were not keen on the “flat tire” on the bottom of the display will possibly have to wait another year for the company to bring it full circle.
