We’ve heard rumours and seen concepts of BlackBerry’s first Android phone, but according to (purportedly retired) leaker extraordinaire, @evleaks, we may need to look to the past to see the future.
While he confirmed earlier today that AT&T would receive the U.S. exclusive for the BlackBerry ‘Venice’, the company’s curved-edge slider coming later this year, he also showed this photo of what appears to be a Passport, or something closely resembling it, running Android.
It may not be the best idea, but BlackBerry is working hard to find a way to make money from its handsets, and Android appears to be the foundation of that goal. We’ll see if anything comes of it.
