LG unveiled its “all-metal luxury Android Wear device,” the LG Watch Urbane, last week. The wearable is aimed at those looking for a premium smartwatch, possibly looking to take some attention away from the upcoming Apple Watch.
The internal specs are similar to the G Watch R, which sports a Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, a heart rate sensor and a 410mAh battery. Much of the allure is on the physical design as it comes with a stainless steel body that is “meticulously crafted” with gold and silver finishes.
LG has uploaded its first promo video that shows more of the Urbane — which is defined as “suave, courteous, and refined in manner” — in various angles, along with a selection of replaceable straps.
The LG Watch Urbane will be on display at the upcoming Mobile World Congress and we’ll bring you our first impressions from Barcelona.
