Bell to offer the Moto 360 smartwatch in December

TELUS is no longer going to be the exclusive carrier selling Motorola’s excellent Moto 360 smartwatch.

We’ve heard reports that Bell will begin offering the Android Wear-based accessory beginning mid-December, though that date could change. TELUS currently sells the Moto 360 for $280, and it appears Bell will match that price.

Bell doesn’t currently have a wide selection of smartwatches and fitness bands, selling Sony’s SmartWatch 2 and SmartBand as well as Samsung’s Gear 2 smartwatch, so the Moto 360 will fit in nicely with its curated selection.

There’s no word on whether the company plans to sell it in stores as well as online, but the watch is a great showpiece for the burgeoning smart device market in general.
