All these Lollipops are bad for your teeth. How about some chocolate?

While everyone is currently obsessed over Lollipop updates, Motorola RAZR HD users on Rogers and FIDO have been patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for their update to Android 4.4 KitKat.

The update was promised to users on November 20th … 2013. That’s right: it’s been a year and a day since Motorola confirmed that the Moto RAZR HD would be getting KitKat.

Today we’ve received reports that the KitKat update, over 500MB in size, is finally being pushed to Fido and Rogers customers. Rogers posted a “coming soon” notice on its software updates schedule back in October.

Motorola explained the delay by saying, ” While we endeavour to provide timely updates, unfortunately sometimes we require extra testing and work to ensure we are giving consumers our best software experience.

Our hope is current RAZR HD users enjoy the experience we’re delivering with this KitKat upgrade.”

Motorola currently has no plans to upgrade the RAZR HD to Lollipop, so enjoy your final major update, RAZR HD users!

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
