Just like that, Sony has released promised Android 4.3 updates for the aging Xperia SP and Xperia T on various carriers, including Bell, Rogers, Wind, MTS, Eastlink and Mobilicity.
After launching the same update for all its newer devices, including the Xperia Z, Z1, Z Ultra and ZL, the software is coming to some of Sony’s aging smartphones. The Xperia T was launched in Canada in November 2012, while the Xperia SP arrived in July 2013.
To update your device, load Sony’s PC Companion for Windows or Bridge for Mac.
While Sony promised Android 4.4 KitKat updates for its Xperia Z line, it’s unclear whether the Xperia T and Xperia SP will receive the same treatment.
