New Rogers Anyplace TV app for iOS and Android coming March 25th

The winds are a changing over at Rogers. The company is planning to shed some work and will be streamlining their mobile TV experience from a couple apps to just one. This actually makes a great deal of sense from a productivity standpoint as they’ll simply now need to push out updates for one app – so the Rogers Anyplace TV Live app (hockey games, etc) and the Rogers Anyplace TV app (standard content) will be bundled together.

According to an email blast to Anyplace TV Mobile subscribers, the apps “will be replaced with a single app for use on Apple and Android devices.” The features stay the same, but will be in one place. The new app will be pushed out to iTunes and Google Play on March 25th and you’ll be prompted to upgrade. The current Rogers Anyplace TV Live and Rogers Anyplace TV apps will be discontinued on April 15th.
