Just like it’s taking Google awhile to push out an Android 4.0 update to the Nexus S, so too is it taking Asus some time to upgrade users of the original Transformer TF101 tablet. The Transformer Prime received its ICS update (and then some) last week, but it looks like the company is waiting until mid-February to ensure everything is working smoothly on the Tegra 2 platform.
We suppose if you’ve been waiting this long, a month longer isn’t the end of the world, but it would be nice to get some assurances that this is the last delay. How ’bout it, Asus?
