We’re not sure who is not talking to who over at Asus but it looks like that “anytime after” January 12th date for the original Transformer to get Ice Cream Sandwich was not entirely accurate.
According to Asus Singapore’s Facebook page, the tablet will be receiving the Ice Cream Sandwich at the end of January or, more likely, early February. It has been approved by Google so all that’s left is to do the OTA update, but that can take some coordinating.
At the very least, we know the update is coming, it’s just a matter of time.
