The successor to the popular low-end Android line, the Optimus One, is nearing its launch.
The LG Optimus Two should see the light of day at CES next week, but the company’s website has been updated with a bit of information about it.
Namely, the model number AS680, has a four-button physical button layout beneath a 3.2-inch 480×320 pixel resolution display. Under the hood there will be an 800Mhz processor, 3.2MP autofocus camera and a 1500mAh battery.
It’s not known whether this model will launch as is in Canada, since it’s currently slated for Verizon or Sprint in the U.S., but the Optimus One line was very successful for all carriers, so there is no doubt it will arrive here in some fashion. The Optimus Two should launch with Gingerbread, but will be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich later this year.
