While other counties are already on the second-generation Motorola XOOM, the XOOM 2, us Canadians are stuck with the original. It’s a solid tablet that has a 10.1-inch display, dual-core 1GHz processor and runs Android. In addition to not having the latest Moto tablet, we also get really slow updates – OS 3.2 was just pushed out a few weeks ago. The XOOM Wi-Fi was released in April for $599.99 and has seen a steady price drop ever since. TELUS is currently selling the XOOM for $599.99, Best Buy and Future Shop have it for $499.99… but it’s Staples that’s looking to clear stock and has a good deal on right now. If the 1.5 pound XOOM is something you want you can pick up this 32GB version for a low $388.00 – which is something to consider.
