The “50 Most Engaged Workplaces” in Canada has been announced and Toronto-based Polar Mobile has made the cut again, “Rogers Business Care” was also there too. We’re thrilled that Polar is there and it’s great to see a Canadian company doing so well. Led by CEO Kunal Gupta, Polar has slowly risen to fame in the mobile space by building mobile apps for the top brands in the world. Now armed with over 1,200 apps, some of the highlighted apps are Sports illustrated, Food Network, CNN Money, WWF, Deliotte… they’ve signed deals with Nokia, RIM and create apps for the iPhone, BlackBerry devices, Android, Windows Phone and Nokia.
According to I Love Rewards, they compiled the list of 50 companies and said they were chosen on eight elements of employee engagement: Leadership, Communication, Culture, Rewards and Recognition, Professional and Personal Growth, Accountability and Performance, Vision and Values and Corporate Social Responsibility.
