Late last night we posted pricing for the upcoming Virgin Mobile BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 9810. It’s assumed that since Bell owns Virgin that they will have the same pricing, if not similar. Checking out the Future Shop and Best Buy websites today shows the $169.99 3-year price point for the 9900 to be true, the 9810 is showing a $169.99 3-year price too, yesterday it was priced at $149.99.
But there’s a twist to all this. Best Buy is stating that the release date is today: “Release Date:08/09/2011”, Future Shop says we can all pic this up in-store only. Earlier indications pointed to a release date for August 16th… Perplexing, confusing and certainly exciting!
