TELUS increasing 411 Directory Assistance and pay-per-use text rates August 10th

Even though TELUS has significantly dropped their international roaming rates it seems there are some slight increases on the way too. There are a couple of increases and they’ll only impact you if you’re not on a text message plan or call 411 Directory Assistance:

Here are the details: 411 Directory Assistance will increase from $2.00 to $2.50. Then, the pay-per-use text message rate (sending and receiving) within Canada and to the U.S. will increase from $0.15 per message to $0.20 per message. These both go into place effective August 10th, 2011.

This is not yet listed on the TELUS site, but customers will receive a notice on their wireless bill this month.
