Sony Ericsson is taking every opportunity to make sure they put the Xperia Play in the right places. Today they announced that the Android-powered device and all its PlayStation content has become the official mobile handset of Major League Gaming.
As part of the sponsorship the Xperia Play will be present at each of the 6 MLG Pro Circuit events (U.S. dates only) and “will feature demonstrations, game challenges and giveaways”. In addition to the events SE has decided to sponsor a couple gamers too: Dave “Walshy” Walsh and MLG Coach Andy “JT Bravo” Dudynsky.
As for us Canadians the only thing we know for sure is that Rogers is exclusively going to release the Play sometime this Spring.
