There has been various numbers flying around about exactly how many apps Google’s Android Market has… today the AndroidDev team has stated on their Twitter account that they have “One hundred thousand apps in Android Market”. What would be really great is to see the official breakdown of paid and free apps and what’s popular by country. With 100,000 apps under its belt the Android Market still trails Apple’s App Store by 200,000 apps (Steve Jobs confirmed last week they have 300,000 apps).
