Telus shuffles its plans around, but only for Quebec

It is only available in Quebec for now

Telus has shuffled its 5G+ plans and dropped prices on most of them; however, it is limited to Quebec.

Essentially, the $80/100GB 5G+ Complete plan is no more and has become its own new category, known as the 5G+ Select plans. Alongside that, prices have dropped: the 5G+ Complete Unlimited plan is now $65/mo, and the 5G+ Complete Unlimited Explore plan is now $85/mo.

Even the price of the new 5G+ Select plan has dropped, now $55/100GB. 5G Standard’s price has also dropped, being reduced to $55/60GB. I could see this plan changing again in the near future, as it doesn’t make sense to have two plans with a 40GB difference at the same price.

If you were to go with a standard voice plan, it has dropped by $5 to $20/mo.

Now, as mentioned earlier, the new plans can only be viewed if you switch to Quebec.

Anywho, if you want to visualize what the new plans look like, here is a list of all of them and their reductions:

  • 5G+ Complete – Unlimited: $65/mo unlimited 5G+ data, unlimited talk/text in CAN/US/MEX and France (FRA), 5GB/day roaming for US/MEX/FRA, with Easy Roam from $5/day outside of those destinations, with unlimited long-distance minutes to 27 international destinations (was $95/unlimited)
  • 5G+ Complete – Unlimited Explore: $85/mo unlimited 5G+ data, unlimited talk/text in Canada and 68 international destinations, 5GB/day of roaming in 68 international destinations at full speed, unlimited long-distance minutes to 68 international destinations (was $110/unlimited)
  • 5G+ Select: $55/100GB, Unlimited talk/text in Canada and the US, 5GB/day roaming in the US, Easy Roam from $16-$18/day (was 5G+ complete – $80/100GB)
  • 5G Standard: $55/100GB, nationwide data, talk, and text, Easy Roam from $16-$18 per day (was $75/60GB)
  • Voice: nationwide talk and text, pay-per-use data (was $25/mo)
