WWDC 2026 App Store updates include subscription bundles, social media integration disclosure

Apple has outlined a slew of new features and guidelines for app and game makers at its latest developers conference

Apple outlined its latest App Store updates at WWDC 2026 this week.

First off, the company says it will introduce subscription bundles, allowing developers to sell multiple apps within a single App Store purchase, even if they’re from other developers. Currently, developers can only sell groups of their own apps.

Additionally, Apple says it will start requiring developers to disclose whether their apps or games feature social media integration. No doubt this is coming amid widespread international scrutiny into social media, particularly among kids. To that point, Canada is reportedly poised to introduce a youth social media ban this week.

Other updates include Time Allowances so parents can more easily manage their kids’ app usage, new App Store marketing options, the ability to run featured sales in the Apple Games app, and much more. You can read all of the WWDC App Store news on Apple’s website.
