Xbox has unveiled a nostalgic new model of the Series X to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
As shown in a trailer during the latest annual Xbox Games Showcase, the new Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition Console and accompanying controller feature a translucent green aesthetic that harkens back to the original Xbox. It’s the first time that a translucent design has been featured with the Xbox Series X.
Other nods to the original Xbox include the X button lighting up in green, a 25th anniversary logo on the front, and ABXY buttons on the controller, among other design elements.
Xbox says the console and controller will launch in November 2026 as a bundle, with the option to buy the controller separately. The company adds that more information on pricing and pre-order availability will come “soon.”
