Ford Canada recalls over 31,000 vehicles

The issue relates to windshield wiper arms

Ford is recalling more than 31,000 vehicles in Canada over an issue with windshield wiper arms.

The affected models are Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs from 2021 to 2023. It should be noted that a notice hasn’t yet been posted through Transport Canada at the time of writing, but CTV News confirmed the issue with Ford Canada. According to a spokesperson, the recalled windshield wipers have “insufficient attachment integrity” that could cause them to detach.

Those with the recalled models will be notified by mail and are asked to take their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer for wiper arm replacement at no cost.

This comes after Ford Canada’s February recall of over 600,000 vehicles due to a software glitch affecting trailer brakes and exterior lights.
