An immersive experience based on the popular Black Mirror series is coming to Montreal in May.
Produced by series owner Banijay and VR company Univrse, The Black Mirror Experience is a location-based VR experience that lets you navigate a physical space to explore a virtual world. Groups of up to six will be supported.
It focuses on a tech giant’s new advanced AI companion that’s meant to completely overhaul people’s lives, only for it to go wrong. It’s unclear if there will be nods to any specific Black Mirror episodes in the experience, with Banijay simply noting that it’s “inspired” by the anthology sci-fi horror series.
The Black Mirror Experience will open in Montreal on May 21 at Infinity Experiences, with tickets going on sale on April 21. Official pricing has yet to be confirmed.
Banijay says additional locations for the experience will be unveiled in the future. It’s worth noting that another Infinity Experience just opened in Mississauga: Space Explorers: The Infinite, a VR experience co-produced by Montreal’s Felix & Paul that’s set aboard the International Space Station.
The seventh and most recent season of Black Mirror premiered on Netflix in April 2025. Earlier this year, series creator Charlie Brooker confirmed that an eighth season is in the works.
