PlayStation has confirmed its first State of Play presentation for the year, and it’s set to be a meaty one.

The stream will take place on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET and run for over 60 minutes. Notably, this would be the company’s longest State of Play ever, surpassing the 55-minute June 2025 show. This is also PlayStation’s most recent State of Play since September, which ran for 40 minutes.

In a blog post, PlayStation said that the Feb. 12 show will feature announcements regarding PS5 games from around the world, including those from third-party partners, indie developers and first-party PlayStation studios. No further teases were provided, but you can tune in on Thursday to learn more via YouTube (or the below embedded video).

Clearly, then, there’s quite a lot that could be shown during the State of Play. Of course, PlayStation’s biggest release this year is Marvel’s Wolverine, set to launch in the fall, although it should be noted that developer Insomniac said during the last State of Play’s trailer for the game that we’d see it again in the spring. That said, Returnal developer Housemarque’s next game, Saros (pictured above), comes out on April 30, so that seems like a logical inclusion, as does Bungie’s Marathon, which drops on March 5. PlayStation also just revealed its long-rumoured Horizon multiplayer game, Horizon Hunters Gathering, so it may want to go into that in greater detail.

In terms of third-party games, many are awaiting Square Enix’s formal unveiling of the third and final installment in its Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. There’s also Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls fighting game from BlazBlue developer ArcSystemWorks, which PlayStation is publishing.
