There won’t be a new Nothing flagship phone this year

The company will instead focus on the success of the Headphone 1, and release a new A-series model

Nothing won’t be releasing its Phone 4 this year, but there will still be some new products.

In an interview on the company’s YouTube channel, CEO and co-founder Carl Pei confirmed that the new Phone 4 won’t be released in 2026 and emphasized that the Phone 3 remains the company’s flagship.

Pei also noted that the company won’t churn out a new flagship every year, adding that “Just because the rest of the industry does things a certain way doesn’t mean we will do the same.”

However, Nothing is releasing a new phone this year, citing that the company will be “levelling up” its A-series of midrange phones. In the interview, Pei noted that the new Phone 4A will be a “complete evolution over its predecessor, from screens to camera to overall performance,” and added that the company is striving to achieve as close to flagship performance as possible with the midrange line.

Earlier in the segment on 2026 products, Pei also noted the success of the Headphone 1, saying, “It is an area we saw a lot of success in, and it is something we want to double down on this year,” so there is a chance we could see more audio-related accessories from Nothing in 2026.
