‘This is an Xbox’ now includes Crocs

Microsoft has partnered with Crocs on Xbox-branded footwear.

Dubbed the “Xbox Classic Clog,” the foam shoes sport a black finish with green Xbox lettering inside. There are also Xbox controller-esque buttons and analogue sticks towards the top of the Crocs.

The Xbox Crocs are available on Crocs’ website for $100 with free shipping. Orders will include a five-pack of Jibbitz decorative shoe charms based on Halo, Fallout, Doom, World of Warcraft, and Sea of Thieves.

It’s been a running joke now that Microsoft is calling everything “an Xbox” nowadays to emphasize its multiplatform approach across console, PC, mobile and other devices, and now, Crocs are a part of that as well. Frankly, though, it seems like a missed opportunity not to call them X-Crocs.
